Do you want to be part of the engine that drives Pexip? Business Operations (BizOps) team designs, implements, operates, and maintains Pexip’s critical processes including “order to cash”, pricing, sales analytics, contract management, and information security and privacy.

 

BizOps is a global team that collaborates daily with the other function within Pexip including Sales, Marketing, Channels, Customer Success, Engineering, Product Management, and the Executive Leadership team.  We are looking to add a Business Operations Specialist located in Herndon, Virginia, US.  Remote work is a possibility for the right candidate.  The role will report to the Business Operations lead in US.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Rapidly develop an in-depth understanding of Pexip’s orderability model and then guide colleagues and business partners as they execute complex sales deals
  • Fulfill orders, generate invoices, and issue credit requests
  • Manage Pexip’s subscription and invoice data to ensure accurate revenue recognition and team compensation
  • Provide information to Finance to support collection of unpaid invoices 
  • Onboard and educate business partners and sales colleagues in the Pexip orderability model and related processes, service offerings and licensing models
  • Support and drive continuous improvement of our processes and systems to scale our rapidly evolving subscription-based business
  • Develop and implement scalable processes that require minimum manual intervention, using automation to enable stakeholders to self-serve wherever possible
  • Contribute to the BizOps knowledge center by creating short “how-to” articles outlining solutions to common challenges faced by channel partners and business partners
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of Pexip

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, logistics, IT, or a similar field
  • Ideally 3-5 years of experience in customer-facing Operations or Sales environments
  • Familiarity with a Software-as-a-service orderability models and common system integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Zuora)
