Pexip, a leading player in the video collaboration space, is looking for a hard-working, self-starting Solutions Architect to support the Channel and Mid-Market Teams. The role will focus primarily on the UK & Ireland market, but will occasionally also cover the wider European area. You will be responsible for partnering with the local channel management team to help drive adoption within the existing customer base, as well as developing new business within the region. Typical tasks include ensuring successful Proof of Concept installations at medium and large sized customers. You will also work across team lines, engaging with Professional Services, Customer Success, and more. 


The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen balance of technical ability with the interpersonal skills to help customers and channel partners understand how the utilization of Pexip technology can increase the value of their existing applications.

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with UK&I Channel Team to provide technical support to the existing Pexip channels and distributors.
  • Provide technical pre-sales support to the Mid-Market Sales Team as they interact with prospective new customers.
  • Maintaining a deep technical understanding of the Pexip product portfolio, upcoming roadmap, and competitive positioning.
  • Triage feedback from the field and provide it to our world class R&D Teams.


The position is based in the United Kingdom.


Candidate Qualifications:


  • Experience in a technical pre-sales environment, working in a multi-tier channel sales model to help drive new business as well as serving existing customers. 
  • Strong working knowledge of the video collaboration industry and related technologies, including SIP, H.323, WebRTC, Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business, firewall traversal, VoIP, etc. 
  • Working knowledge of technologies that help govern IP-based collaboration: firewalls, routers, MPLS networks, media relays, reverse proxies, etc. 
  • Understanding of third-party collaboration solutions such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Skype for Business, Cisco WebEx, Zoom etc. 
  • Awareness of commodity compute and virtualization, including VMware and Intel Xeon processors. 
  • Awareness of private cloud compute, such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud. 
  • Demonstrable ability to work within a global team.
  • Capable of developing creative, but still robust solutions to seemingly insurmountable problems.  
  • Must be willing and eager to learn new technologies. 
  • Willing to go above and beyond in the name of channel, customer and organizational success. 
  • Fluent in English
  • "Can do" attitude!
