Solutions Architect – Healthcare and Government (pre-sales, focus on software integrations)

Pexip, a leading player in the video collaboration space, is looking for a hard-working, self-starting Solutions Architect to support the public and healthcare sales Teams. The role will focus primarily on the DACH market but will occasionally also cover the wider European area. You will be responsible for supporting customers and partners with the integration of the Pexip services, as well as developing new business within the region. Typical tasks include ensuring successful Proof of Concept at medium and large sized customers. You will also work across team lines, engaging with Professional Services, Customer Success, and more. 


The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen balance of technical ability with the interpersonal skills to help customers and partners understand how the utilization of Pexip technology can increase the value of their existing applications. You can work from multiple locations (Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt am Main, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart and your home office)

As a Solution Architect you will be: 

  • Joining a passionate and highly professional Pexip team in Germany, Austria, Switzerland (DACH)
  • Designing next generation communication solutions for Pexip customers in the areas of healthcare and government by deeply understanding their needs
  • Building solution and architectural design with focus on integrating the Pexip video communication solution API-based into prospective customer’s existing software solutions
  • Conducting demos and proof of concepts for prospective Pexip customers
  • Supporting healthcare and government sales teams in the sales process (e.g., in the RFQ/RFP preparation)
  • Building competitive intelligence
  • Driving the Pexip vision


A successful Systems Engineer will:

Minimum requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Communication Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent
  • Technical pre-sales experience in the unified communications, telecommunications, or cloud industry
  • Experience in the healthcare or government industry including experience with API-based software integrations
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal
  • 3+ years of professional experience


Preferred qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of Microservice and REST APIs
  • Understanding of continuous integration and deployment
  • Knowledge of a major programming language such as: JavaScript, Frontend frameworks, Python, Node.js, PHP, Java)
  • Knowledge of Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, and cloud application architecture
  • Good working knowledge of the collaboration industry and related protocols, including SIP, WebRTC, VoIP
