Pexip is growing! We are in need of a people centric, sales focused, and energetic Regional Sales Director to manage our New York City Sales team!

 

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for maximizing the company revenues through the direction of field sales and inside sales activities. The RSD will be responsible for directing the work effort of their team members, providing sales support, and managing the relationships and performance of Channel Partners. The RSD develops plans and strategies to promote the success of their team members and maintains effective communications with executives and managers across the company.

Role and Responsibilities: 


Some of the responsibilities of the position include:

  • Proven sales leader with 5+ years management experience in the NY Metro and surrounding areas
  • Proficient in team building, leading by example, and helping through existing client relationships
  • Provide data and recommendations to determine territory alignments and quota allocations 
  • Take ownership for all hiring, onboarding, and training for your team members
  • Responsible for visibility into the pipeline and forecast
  • Provide sales pipeline oversight and ensure Account Executives adherence to sales process 
  • Learn, develop and implement new ways for Pexip to differentiate itself in the marketplace
  • Effectively forecast with a high level of predictability, quality, and accuracy for quarterly and annual planning
  • Work with and maintain necessary reports and processes in the company’s Salesforce CRM system
  • Local travel and occasional out of region travel required (this will be tailored due to COVID19) 

 

Required Qualifications: 


  • 5+ solid years in managing an enterprise sales team
  • Lead with empathy 
  • Have extensive experience in working with Pexip’s alliance partners as well as an extensive network within those same alliance partners
  • Display strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills. You should be very comfortable presenting to groups of cross-functional executives. This position will regularly interact with C-level and other senior leadership
  • Demonstrate proficiency in analyzing enterprise strategy and financials to leverage insights to develop effective growth strategies as part of an annual account plan
  • Experience working collaboratively in designing and implementing effective territory plans and customer business proposals
  • Collaboration software and hardware experience extremely helpful 
  • Candidate is required to lead with Pexip values and culture, fostering trust with their team and clients
  • Be able to work in the NYC office and attend client business meetings on as needed basis
