About Pexip

Pexip is a software company based in Oslo, Norway and Twyford, UK that develops video conferencing solutions for businesses. Our Pexip Infinity platform can be deployed on-premises, in a private cloud, or in AWS/Azure/GCP, and it allows participants to use a wide range of different video technologies (including traditional video systems, Skype for Business clients, web browsers, Android and iOS devices) to call each other, or to join meetings hosted on the Pexip platform or by Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams and Google Hangouts. We also offer a managed service that uses our own platform.

Pexip is growing fast and now has around 500 employees in 15 countries, with over a 100 people in an R&D team split across sites in the UK and Norway, and a substantial sales team across Northern Europe, the USA, Australia, South America, China, Singapore and Eastern Europe. The combined company has more than 3,000 global partners and customers, including several Fortune 500 companies, across a variety of industries and in more than 195 countries. In addition, our technology is used by a large number of the world’s Videoconferencing as a Service (VCaaS) providers. The Pexip Infinity platform currently powers around 1.5 billion video minutes per year - that’s video and audio being decoded, mixed and encoded in real time on more than 4,000 virtual machines all around the world.

Pexip has won a number of industry awards, including “Global Video Conferencing Technology Innovation Award” winner by renowned analysts Frost & Sullivan in 2016, Gartner “Cool Vendor” award in 2018, and in 2019 we were rated first for brand perception amongst video meeting solutions users by Wainhouse Research. We hold Microsoft certification for our video interoperability gateways to Skype for Business and to Microsoft Teams, and we have partnered with Google to provide their interoperability solution for Hangouts Meet. Our strong presence and a proven functionally- rich product means Pexip is now firmly established in the market and enjoying strong commercial growth.

Working at Pexip is immensely rewarding, both in terms of creating a robust, scalable, high-availability product, and a development environment that encourages individual engineers to have a real influence on features and functionality.
