We are looking for a passionate, high-performing professional services engineer to implement customer solutions including design, installation, configuration, integration, and testing.

Pexip’s Professional Services team is rapidly growing and seeking enthusiastic engineers to develop and deliver its products and services. As a company, Pexip believes in enabling people, rather than managing them. Working closely with the Sales Engineering, Support, and Customer Success teams, the Professional Services team is at the forefront of ensuring the smooth introduction and onboarding of the Pexip product. 

Pexip's Professional Services team is flexible about working locations in order to best meet our customers' needs. We are happy to consider applications in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. 

Role and Responsibilities 

Some of the responsibilities for the position include: 

  • Work with customers to identify technical requirements and design appropriate solutions
  • Implement Pexip products in a variety of self-hosted and cloud-based deployment models
  • Able to communicate highly technical issues to non-technical people to explain possible deployment and integration options
  • Maintain communications with customers and account teams on project status
  • Produce technical documentation required for each installation
  • Conduct basic administrator and end user training
  • Ensure effective handover to Technical Support and Customer Success
  • Develop and maintain professional services offerings, documentation, methods and tools
  • Maintain competitive research and knowledge around the Unified Communications and Collaboration market 
  • Between projects, Professional Services assist Technical Support to troubleshoot reported problems, identify root cause, and resolve issues 

Required qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree required 
  • 5+ years relevant experience in professional services and/or post sales technical support
  • Good technical understanding of Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Avaya, Poly, Zoom, BlueJeans, and other related partners/competitors in the visual collaboration landscape
  • Good technical understanding of virtualization technologies, e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Proven track record in professional services/technical support
  • Must be comfortable in a dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base
  • Ability to rely on experience and sound judgement to plan and accomplish goals
  • Ability to juggle a variety of complicated tasks, and be comfortable working independently with remote support
  • Display extremely strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills 
  • Possess strong presentation skills
